Common questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. The web version opens straight in the browser. The desktop app is optional, for offline work and firmware flashing.

Which boards are supported?

ESP8266 (NodeMCU V3), ESP32, and Arduino Uno, along with dozens of input/output/passive components.

Can I upload to real hardware?

Yes, through the desktop app, which uses arduino-cli and esptool for ESP32/ESP8266 boards.

Which language does it run?

A subset of Arduino C++ interpreted inside the app (setup/loop, functions, control flow, and common library objects).

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Simulation runs locally. WiFi is simulated and can be switched off to test offline handling.
